Working with Mother and Doctor for a Healthy Delivery

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is an area of obstetrics that is controversial. New research studies enter the medical literature every month, so the recommendations you receive today from a doctor may not be the answer you receive next month. Some physicians recommend evaluation after you have lost two pregnancies, while others may not begin a workup until you have lost at least three pregnancies.

The doctors at RPG work closely with local reproductive endocrinologists (sometimes known as fertility specialists) to ensure that you have the most up to date and evidence-based recommendations. If you have a history of recurrent pregnancy loss and are not yet pregnant, the doctors at RPG can see you for preconception counseling. They may refer you to see a local reproductive endocrinologist.
